Our Vision

As followers of Jesus Christ, we envision ourselves to be a psycho-spiritual healing community, channels of His grace and mercy.

Our Mission

We are committed to the restoration of people who are hurting and help them move toward personal wholeness, relational integrity, and spiritual maturity in the context of Christian community. In so doing we believe hope is restored to broken and wounded people.

Appointments & Cancellations

Those who want to avail of our services are welcome in our counseling center. It is best to set an appointment prior to a visit. We typically meet with counselees once a week in fifty-minute sessions for individuals and ninety-minute sessions for couples, groups, and families. We mostly meet clients on online platforms, unless a face-to-face session is specifically requested.

Our Story

A group of graduating students at the Alliance Graduate School who were pursuing their M.A. in Christian Counseling shared a common vision of starting a counseling ministry after graduation. Sonia Martinez Beraña spearheaded the vision and for two years she and her colleagues prayed and discussed possibilities. Finally God moved to make the vision of the counseling center become a reality. Allen Lim Giok Lin, a Christian businessman and seminary educator, offered his newly purchased condominium unit right in the heart of Makati for the use of the counseling center. And so on September 1, 1997 Door of Hope Counseling Resource Center officially started rendering counseling services with the motto of

Restoring HOPE to Broken & Wounded People.

Our Commitment to Confidentiality

We are committed to maintaining strict confidentiality in all communications between the counselee and the counselor unless required by law.

Counseling Fees

We want to provide accessibility of counseling to people coming from a wide range of economic situations. For this reason, we have a socialized fee scale. For more information about counseling fees, please contact our center.

Your First Step Towards Hope and Healing

We understand that reaching out can be the hardest part. Take a few gentle minutes to share a bit about yourself.

This helps us understand how we can best support you as you begin your journey towards renewal.
